“This is an amazing experience. Prepare for wet and cold, it is part of experience. Warm and waterproof are your friends. Dress in layers, if you can find goretex I would recommend it! Don’t forget to follow this advice for footwear too! The sun did not cooperate with the clouds, but we had a wonderful guide that made us not even worry about that and created an immersive experience. Preston was amazing. The breakfast is nice too.”

Be sure to dress VERY warmly and consider the wind chill—it's easy to remove extra layers and leave them on the bus with your guide if you don’t need them. The plantation was a lovely place to stop and have breakfast after sunrise - the staff was very organized, attentive and friendly.”

We did have to rely on Google maps on our phones a few times to double check the directions. Stopped for a good lunch on the way down the mountain. Definitely would recommend this for families with older children/young adults.…”
